For the next two days, you will be exploring the world’s best-known wildlife sanctuary Morning and/or evening game viewing has been schedule for you to skirt the vast plains in search of the plain’s abundant wildlife including the big five (Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Café Buffalo).
Amazingly is it a cohabitation of the best nature has to offer. Amazing landscape invites you to this part of Africa. Nature is unpredictable and anything can happen in the wild. At sunset, enjoy the amazing orange sunrays as the sun sets down in Africa´s animal kingdom. The backdrop of the large Acacia trees in the open plains is a sight to behold for photographers.

Day 6&7:
Serengeti National park

The Serengeti provides unmatched ornithological opportunities and an extraordinary natural setting where the splendor and harmony of nature can be fully appreciated. Depending on the season and the migration patterns, you might see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Renowned as the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, the Serengeti is unparalleled for its natural beauty and the highest concentration of plains game anywhere.

Day 8:
Transfer to Masai Mara game

We bid farewell to the republic of Tanzania and start our journey back to Kenya. You will take a flight from Serengeti and get to Masai Mara. With a short game drive enroute you will get to camp in time for lunch. The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well-spread rainfall year round. Rain, when it falls almost always chooses the late afternoon or night.

Day 9&10:
Masai Mara game Reserve.

Spend the days exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-manned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals. Enjoy the fascinating facts and cultural dances from the Maasai culture. Mingle with the people for an insight of their ways of life. Between July and October, when the great wildebeest migration is in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the sensation is unparalleled. Nowhere in the world is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration; over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.

The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will preyon them. This is one of the highlights as the animals try and cross the Mara River alive. In the Maasai Mara they will be hunted, stalked, and run down by the larger carnivores. The Maasai Mara also has one of the highest densities of lion in the world and is no wonder this is the home of the BBC wildlife channels Big Cat Diary. An optional balloon safari is on offer at an extra cost.
