Tour Features
Day 1:
Arrive in Nairobi.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Fairmont Norfolk Hotel for your overnight stay. This historic and recently refurbished hotel exudes charm with its elegant interiors and warm ambiance, making it a perfect retreat during your time in Nairobi. Enjoy a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay in this welcoming setting.
Day 2-3:
Amboseli national Park
This is the home to the second highest mountain in Africa. Its snow peaks provide water to the springs and shallow pans of Amboseli National park. In return the water pans offer a livelihood to the wildlife in these dusty plains. Amboseli is home to some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya. A research and elephant behavior is studied in this park. The wildlife corridors here offer an open way for the animals to migrate when the dry season becomes unbearable. The Maasai in Amboseli are adorned in blue colors different from their red counter parts in Maasai Mara. Enjoy your stay at the Tawi lodge.
Day 4- 5:
Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast you will be picked up by your safari guide who shall drive towards Namanga. After visa formalities you will be transferred by road to Arusha. Enjoy a hot lunch before catching a flight to the Tarangire national park. This park is famed for its gigantic baobabs over 1000 years old and the large herds of elephant families. Tarangire national park covers a total area of 2850sq therefore you get a large area to cover on your game drives. There is a high concentration of wildlife along the Tarangire River especially in the dry season. The Tarangire River is the only source of water within the park. Wildlife species include lions, leopard, cheetah, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, olive baboon, waterbuck, impala, vervet monkey, African wild dog, eland, caracal, honey badger and others.
Day 6-7:
Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you will enjoy the scenic drive to the largest caldera in the world. Ngorongoro conservational area is great for a game drive. Ngorongoro hosts an array of wildlife species and to full explore all its inhabitants, it is recommended to take a full day game drive. Enjoy picnic lunch by the hippo pools as you soak in to the views of the vast depression. Ngorongoro offers mind-blowing experiences about wildlife, their behavior and habits.
Day 8-9:
Serengeti National park
Depart from Ngorongoro and fly to Serengeti National Reserve, known for its exceptional game viewing. Arrive in time for lunch, then embark on your first game drive across the vast plains. The Serengeti offers opportunities to spot the Big Five and other wildlife such as cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, and many more. Witness the spectacular wildebeest migration from March to July, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores move across the park, attracting numerous predators. Serengeti’s diverse habitats and dynamic wildlife make for an exhilarating safari experience.
Day 10-12:
Serengeti national Park- Maasai Mara game reserve:
Today you will be transferred by air to the Kenya’s finest wildlife destination. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well-spread rainfall year round. Rain, when it falls almost always chooses the late afternoon or night.
Spend the days exploring the rolling hills and plains for a chance to spot black-Manned lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo along with varied species of hoofed animals. Enjoy the fascinating facts and cultural dances from the Maasai culture. Mingle with the people for an insight of their ways of life. Day 14:
Masai Mara - Nairobi
After an early morning game drive, return to camp to enjoy a hearty breakfast, reflecting on the day’s wildlife encounters. Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, indulge in a leisurely lunch at a city restaurant, savoring the local cuisine and taking a final opportunity to explore the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport, where you will complete the check-in process and board your outbound flight. This ensures a smooth and comfortable transition as you conclude your remarkable safari journey.
