Samburu Game Reserve is one of the inspiring safari destinations in Kenya. It occupies a 165-km² area. The reserve is based in the North of Laikipia. The site is arid and semi-arid. At daytime, it is usually scorching, and at night the temperature is cool. The dry seasons are the best for game viewing and start from May to October. The wet season is also ideal for birding as the area is green. Additionally, the migratory birds arrive from November to April. The reserve is an excellent gate away for a romantic safari.
