Named after the Chindeni hills, the Chindeni Bushcamp provides a truly fantastic experience to nature lovers, thanks to its proximity to mountains and forests.
Chindeni is located in the southern part of Luangwa National Park amidst long ebony trees, providing visitors with a tranquil environment. The Bushcamp contains four private rooms and a communal area on a raised platform where you find the dining, bar and entertainment. Nevertheless, you can always request a private session in the dining and bar areas. The four resting rooms contain everything you need for your holiday, including a private verandah, queen-size bed, hot shower, toilet and modern wooden flooring. The veranda offers impressive views of the lagoon, where you can see seabirds, hippos, pukus and other wildlife found at Luangwa National Park.
The most common way to get to Chindeni Bushcamp is through Mfuwe International Airport, where you are met by the team and driven to the camp. Besides, Chindeni is a sister camp to many others, including Bilimungwe and Chamilandu, all less than six kilometers apart! Assuming you are travelling as a group and are all spread out in the camps; you can enjoy daily nature walks between the camps as you enjoy the Luangwa National Park beautiful sceneries.
Meals and drinks are catered for in Chindeni. You will be awoken every morning at 6:30 am by a soft knock on your door informing you that your tasty, healthy breakfast is ready. You can immediately drive off to the park after breakfast or go to your private balcony for wildlife viewing. Lunch and dinner are also available on request.
