Serengeti National Park

EXTRAORDINARY SAFARIS

Overview:

The Serengeti is among the top African safari destinations. It is an endless plain stretched on the savannah grassland. The park is the perfect break from your usual routine city life. The ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ takes place in this ecosystem. Herbivores move from Masai Mara, searching for green grazing areas every year. Serengeti National Park is divided into three areas. The Serengeti plains are in the south, and the animals beget their offspring from December to May. Here is where the lives lost on the infectious water quadruple.  The Western corridor is the other region that comprises the vicinal forests and Grumeti Rivers. From May to June, the creatures pass in this area. The Northern Serengeti is the other segment. The hills and open woodland are where the animals move from November and July to August. There is a high sheer number of lions in Tanzania. Over 3000 population of big cats are active at dawn and dusk hunting on the prey. There are excellent accommodation campsites and lodges to reside. Budget and luxurious hotels wait for you! Appreciate the hot air balloon experience as you float over the air across the savannah. A safari paradise is a lifetime event with an iconic sunset. The spotlight is based in Northern Tanzanian and is a prime national park in the country. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Millions of animals scamper around Serengeti from Mara River. You can spot Leopards, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, rhinos, elephants, zebras, hyenas, and gazelles. The ancient ecosystem has unique fauna and flora that you cannot find in other places. The vegetation is riverine forest, acacia, grassland plains, and woodland.

There are around 500 bird species in the park. This is a necessary bird lover paradise worth touring. Some of the Avifaunal are; ostrich, eagles, marabou storks, blue-cheeked cordon bleu, crowned cranes, secretary bird, pink flamingos, and raptors.  The Ol Doinyo Lengai Mountain, an active volcano that erupted in 2007, is located in Serengeti. Which is the best time to visit Serengeti?

June to October are the dry seasons best for game viewing in Serengeti. The scattered vegetation helps in spotting the animals quickly. November, December, and August are favorable months to watch the wildebeest migration. In July, August, and November, the creatures gather around to cross the Mara River. November to April bird-watching activities are ideal as the migrant birds fly from North Africa and Europe to this iconic park.
