Fly from the lush, green plateau of Nairobi to the expansive, dusty plains of Amboseli National Park. This morning we shall chatter flight to the expansive Laikipia plateau, transfer to our camp for the next 2 nights. Lewa downs Conservancy initially started as a protected area for rhino but has now grown to be one of the most conserved and protected areas in Kenya and beyond. It is hosts to all kinds of wildlife species including the big five and Grevy’s Zebra and even the most sought after wild dogs. It also plays hosts to one of the greatest marathons on earth.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara, East Africa’s premier wildlife reserve. Explore the savannah and its diverse inhabitants, including the Big Five and thousands of herbivores. From July to October, the reserve hosts the spectacular wildebeest migration, often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. Enjoy a sundowner and cocktails at your camp, or opt for a balloon safari for aerial views of the plains. Experience the vibrant African drum beats and night sounds of the Mara. Over the next two days, search for black-manned lions, rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and leopards, and witness the thrilling wildlife action, including hunts signaled by vultures. Spend your nights under canvas for an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, fly back to Nairobi the city in the sun. Enjoy lunch at the Karen coffee gardens. Visit the endangered Rothschild giraffe and feed them by hand. Later enjoy a visit to the Karen Blixen museum home of the author of Out of Africa. Later we shall transfer to the airport for your flight home
